Principle: it refers to a pressure processing method in which the
wire blank passes through the die hole under the action of a
certain tension to make the plastic deformation of the wire rod,
reduce the section and increase the length. It is a kind of cold
deformation.
① The drawn wire has a more accurate size, smooth surface, and
various section shapes. It can draw round wire, flat wire, Z-shaped
wire, trapezoidal wire, etc;
③ It is mainly cold pressure processing. The drawing process, tools
and equipment are simple and the production efficiency is high. The
current equipment (only for Copper drawing) has the function of
continuous drawing and retreat, saving a lot of manpower and
material resources.
④ The power consumption is large and the deformation rate is
limited, which is mainly realized by multi-channel molds with large
to small cross-section.
